About
Safe Water India has been building and treating water since 2008. This is how that happened.
A pool has to stay watertight, level and safe to swim in through thirty monsoons. We build it that way, and we keep the water that way.

Safe Water India started in Pune in 2008 as a water treatment contractor, fitting filtration and disinfection to pools that other people had built and that nobody could keep clear.
We kept being asked why the pools leaked, why the edges were not level, why the plant rooms flooded. The answer was always the same: the water had been an afterthought. So we started building the pools ourselves.
Today we design and build pools, fountains and water features across India, and we still run the treatment side with the same seriousness we started with. The name has not changed because the priority has not.

- Safe first
- Every body of water we build turns over on schedule and is disinfected twice. That is not an option on the quote.
- Built to survive the monsoon
- Hydrostatic valves, overflow drainage and waterproofing detailed for three months of rain and a rising water table.
- Our own people
- Site engineers, tilers and plant technicians are employed by us. The person who builds it is the person who services it.
- Honest engineering
- If a shape will not hold water, we say so at concept stage. We would rather lose the job than build the leak.
A small leadership team, all of whom still go to site. Behind them are around sixty directly employed engineers, tilers and plant technicians.

The mark has not changed since 2008. Neither has the priority it stands for: the water is safe before it is beautiful.
They gave us the hydraulics at concept stage, not after the slab was poured. It changed how we drew the whole terrace.
